Biological sterilization indicator Formaldehyde with Geobacillus Stearotermophilus vial rapid reading 2 hours

Bionova® BT102 Fluorescent Rapid Read Biological Indicators have been designed for quick and easy monitoring of formaldehyde sterilization cycles. The system consists of a plastic tube, a special filter, a spore carrier and a vial bottle with culture medium. The tube has a plastic cover with holes and a permeable barrier to formaldehyde. Each tube contains a population of 10⁶ spores of Geobacillus stearotermophilus ATCC 7953 impregnated on the carrier. It also contains a violet culture medium at the base of the ampoule.
If the sterilization process was not successful, the indicator medium will change from purple to yellow after incubation at the temperature of 60 ± 2 °C, which indicates the presence of Geobacillus stearotermophilus spores.
Attention: Do not use the respective indicator for monitoring other sterilization processes with steam, ethylene oxide, dry heat, plasma. Biological indicators are not reused.
