Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is associated with an indicator of low estrogen levels and menopause. Usually when a woman enters menopause, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) increases markedly in the body. In general, FSH increases to 10 times the normal values and reaches 110 mIU/ml. This can rise to 500 mIU/ml. After menopause, FSH levels may be stable for many years. The one-step FSH urine test detects FSH in the urine.
