YEASTS WELL D-ONE®
It is a system composed of 24 wells containing biochemical substrates for the identification of the most important fungi, yeasts and an antifungal susceptibility test.
Identification is based on the use of different sugars and by the presence of 13-CHR, which contains a chromogenic substrate, whose color changes allow differentiation of yeasts.
The system is inoculated with a fungal suspension and incubated at 36°C ± 1°C for 24-48 hours.
The micro-organism is identified by a numerical code obtained by taking into account the colorimetric reaction of the biochemical test following growth and staining of the probe containing the chromogenic carrier.
