YEASTS WELL D-ONE\u00ae is a system composed by 24 wells containing biochemical substrates for the identification of the most clinically important yeast and an antifungal susceptibility test.<\/p>\n
The identification is based on the use of different sugars and on the presence of well 13-CHR, containing a chromogenic substrate which color change allows to differentiate yeasts.
\nSystem is inoculated with a yeast suspension and incubate at 36 \u00b0C \u00b11 for 24-48 hours.<\/p>\n
The microorganism is identified by a numerical code obtained considering the colorimetric reaction of biochemical test as consequence of the growth and the color of the well containing the chromogenic media.<\/p>\n
