The plastic tube also protects the glass vial containing the blue colored culture medium.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Product Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The biological indicator is designed for monitoring ethylene oxide sterilization processes.<\/p>\n<p>If the sterilization process was unsuccessful, the indicator press (blue culture medium) will change from blue to yellow after incubation at 37 \u00b1 2 \u00b0C, thus indicating the presence of live Bacillus atrophaeus spores. If the sterilization process was successful the indicator color will remain blue after incubation.
