The assay contains conjugated gold colloid and a membrane band pre-coated with antibodies specific for SARS-CoV-2 antigen on the test lanes (T). If SARS-CoV-2 antigen is present in the specimen, a visible black band appears on the test lanes (T) as antibody-antibody-gold antibody-conjugated complex forms.
