The Calprotectin test is a chromatographic, non-invasive, immunoassay for the qualitative detection of calprotectin in human stool samples to assist in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal inflammatory bowel disease. The membrane is coated in the region of the test bands with monoclonal antibodies against calprotectin.
