YEASTS WELL D-ONE® is a system composed by 24 wells containing biochemical substrates for the identification of the most clinically important yeast and an antifungal susceptibility test.
The identification is based on the use of different sugars and on the presence of well 13-CHR, containing a chromogenic substrate which color change allows to differentiate yeasts.
System is inoculated with a yeast suspension and incubate at 36 °C ±1 for 24-48 hours.
The microorganism is identified by a numerical code obtained considering the colorimetric reaction of biochemical test as consequence of the growth and the color of the well containing the chromogenic media.
