Rapid diagnostic kit from cerebrospinal fluid for presumptive identification of the most common pathogens in meningoencephalitis (including fungi) and antibiotic susceptibility testing.
The test consists of a 32-well polypropylene plate with selective culture media for presumptive identification/isolation: neisseria spp., haemophilus influenzae, streptococcus pneumoniae, streptococcus agalactiae, staphylococcus aureus, listeria spp., escherichia coli, candida albicans and candida spp.
Antibiograms: ampicillin, cefotaxime, vancomycin, meropenem - in different concentrations.
Test includes
- 1 plate with 32 wells,
- 2 ml vial of culture medium solution,
- vial 10 ml sterile saline solution.
